Offering casual yet sophisticated river-themed dining in a renovated 19th-century power plant (whose renovation has earned countless accolades), they can provide the perfect charm for your perfect someone.

Conch Republic Rocketts

If the casual Key West is more your style, this riverfront restaurant will set the mood with a six-course meal featuring everything from frog legs to roasted lamb loin. Throw in their included bottle of wine or champagne, drink specials from their two river-view bars and a heated patio overlooking the James River, and all that’s missing is a Jimmy Buffet serenade.

M Bistro & Wine Bar

As their name suggests, M Bistro is part café/part wine bar featuring French-inspired Southern cuisine from one of Richmond’s most beloved chefs, Michael Hall. With a reputation for offering from-scratch, seasonal ingredients and inventive flavors, Chef Hall and his dedicated crew are hard at work preparing a “poetic meal” coupled with live jazz for you and your date.
