Rocketts Landing is home to Richmond’s first and only private marina on the James, bringing a new level of boating activity to the River City. This 2000-foot-long, floating-dock marina offers 88 state-of-the-art slips and will accommodate boats up to 60 feet in length. The marina will also offer restrooms, showers, a fueling dock, sanitary pump, water and power hook-ups, and a harbormaster.

The marina’s first stage opened in May 2009 and includes 40 slips that span the first phase of Rocketts’ waterfront. Annual, seasonal and month-to-month leases are now available, with first priority going to Rocketts Landing residents. Boaters may choose between 30 foot, 35 foot and 45 foot slips, each accommodating boats up to that length.
