Rocketts Landing
  Meet Bob and Jill Wright
In search of a new adventure.
Fall Line, 2 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms

When Bob and Jill Wright’s children moved out of their 3,800 square foot West End colonial, the couple decided they wanted something exciting and new. They didn’t realize they’d experience that sense of excitement every day,
as they watch the amazing sunsets from their condo
in Fall Line.

“We knew we were facing west, but we didn’t realize how gorgeous the sunsets would be,” says Jill. “We also get a sunrise effect from the sun coming up and hitting the city buildings.  It reflects off the metal and glass of the tall buildings.  It’s absolutely beautiful.”

Bob and Jill have been residents of Fall Line since September 2007. “We chose this community because we wanted a place where we might have a new adventure,” says Bob. “That’s why we came into the city – to try this lifestyle. Our children also wanted us to be in a place with less upkeep, because we like to travel.”

Bob worked in Shockoe Bottom and has always loved the pulse of the city and the waterfront. Today, he feels the pulse every day. “One of my favorite things to do is to get up early and watch the scullers rowing on the James. The idea of having the James River in your front yard is a plus because we have a boat – and being able to see the world from here is just fascinating.”
